Globalink Research Internship (GRI) 2022:

Mitacs Globalink Research Internship offers a 12-week research internship for international undergraduates (or students enrolled in a combined undergraduate/master’s program). Top ranked applicants are awarded internship under the supervision of outstanding faculty members from Canadian universities. Internships are available in a wide range of academic fields, including science, engineering, and mathematics, as well as the humanities and social sciences at over 70 universities across Canada. Excellent institutions, world-class research facilities, cutting-edge industrial innovation, and unrivalled undergraduate training options abound in Canada.

The eligible countries and regions are: Australia, Brazil, China, Colombia, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Mexico, Pakistan, Taiwan, Tunisia, Ukraine, United Kingdom and the United States.

With this 12-week research internship explore hands-on research in your field of interest and increase your knowledge and skills.

An enriching experience that combines academic research at a Canadian institution, professional skill development classes, and social activities.

This is an opportunity for you to test your independence while also gaining international experience in a new country.

Also, GRI alumni are eligible for the Mitacs Globalink Graduate Fellowship if they are interested in returning to Canada for graduate studies.​
